The Michigan Series on Teaching Multilingual Writers addresses a variety of issues of interest to L2 writing teachers of all levels and in all settings. The Michigan Series treats these issues in a focused and illustrative manner. Topics include teacher-student writing conferences, peer review, reading-writing connections, error treatment, technology and L2 writing, assessment, and many more.

Important Features of the Series:

  • Comprehensibility: Each issue is treated thoroughly, considering various teaching situations, such as foreign and second language environments, both inside and beyond the classroom; beginning, intermediate and advanced levels; and academic and special purposes programs.

  • Illustrativeness: In order to make each book highly accessible and reader-friendly, voices of L2 writing teachers, students, and researchers will be included.

  • Research-based data: Topical discussions are based on data collected from L2 writing classrooms, teachers, students, parents, and school communities to ensure widest accessibility.
