The volume contains 70 new or substantially revised editions of documentary and non-documentary papyri and ostraca from Egypt edited by an international team of specialists. Texts span the seventh century BCE to the ninth century CE. They are written mainly in Greek but also in Latin, Egyptian, and Arabic. Each text is accompanied by a translation, line-by-line commentary, and photo. The volume includes the standard indices found in papyrological text editions.
